This blog has been created for the education of nurse practitioners and other advanced practice nurses, whose training has focused on diagnosis and treatment of illness, health teaching, counseling, and preventive services. When teaching classes, workshops, or seminars, it can be helpful to have a foundation of education theory, a knowledge of learning styles, and a repertoire of teaching strategies from which to choose.
